Communities West IV

Thursday, January 21, 2021Friday, February 26, 2021

The exhibition features seventy pieces representing a community of printmakers with connections to the Western United States. Work in the show is "rich and varied in technique and concept. The artists in the folio are as diverse as the work and made up of veteran and emerging printers, academics and working artists." Nate Abel, Bev Beck Gluckert, Andrew Caruso, Gesine Janzen, Susan Lowdermilk, Catherine Nelson, Sage Perrott, Robert Royhl, and Melanie Yazzie are some of the artists whose work is in the exhibition.

This show is organized through the Robert & Gennie DeWeese Gallery. "Communities West IV" is sponsored by the Montana Art Gallery Directors Association (MAGDA) which is supported in part by grants from the Montana Arts Council, the Coal Tax Trust Fund for Cultural and Aesthetic Projects, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
