 \n\nArt Walk is free and open to the public.\n\nCATE ALLEN currently resid
 es in Pagosa Springs\, Colorado and has been an Arts Guild member for many
  years.  Some of her favorite activities are fly fishing\, relaxing in hot
  springs\, and attending rodeos. She loves to kayak\, paddle-board\, ride 
 four-wheeler's in the mountains\, and hike with Ranger her Border Collie. 
 Galleries besides the Carbon County Arts Guild who feature Cate's work inc
 lude Windsor -Betts Art Brokerage Gallery in Sante Fe\, Windriver Art Gall
 ery in Wyoming\, and Craig Galleries in Colorado.  Kevin Red Star\, is a m
 entor\, friend\, and teacher who Cate credits with influencing her to be a
 n active participant in the art world and encourages her to paint when she
  would rather be goofing off!\n\nJEAN POSUSTA is an artist who retired fro
 m a career in social services. Her research led her to speak on social and
  ethical issues as well as other humanitarian interests for people in need
 . About her art Posusta says Claude Monet is one of her favorite artist’s 
 and like Monet\, she strives to paint “winks of nature” with light and col
 or. Texture\, tone\, symmetry\, and patterns envelop Posusta’s work. She i
 s intrigued by animal eyes and their fur which makes bears\, wolves\, and 
 horses her favorite subjects to paint. Additional inspiration comes from r
 egional artists including Harry Koyama\, Kira Fercho\, and Ted Waddell. Je
 an Posusta lives in Billings\, Montana where she has work at Kirk’s Grocer
 y and at the Carbon County Arts Guild & Depot Gallery in Red Lodge.\n \nTo
