Open Studio Figure Drawing

Figure Drawing at the Arts Guild

On Saturday, October 10, 2020 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. the Carbon County Arts Guild & Depot Gallery is once again offering an Open Studio Figure Drawing session. Class will begin at 10 o’clock with about 30 minutes of instruction led by Roberts artist Richard Wallace on "how to draw a figure." After the tips on how to draw, participants can use the remaining time to sketch leisurely from the live model. Bring your sketch pad and favorite drawing tools like charcoal, graphite, or Conte crayon. Cost is $5 per person.

In response to the COVID19 situation we are asking for people to register for Open Studio. Space will be limited to 5 people. Social distance guidelines will be implemented with students spaced minimum of 6' apart. Masks will need to be worn and a health check form will need to be completed at the start of class.

The mission of the Carbon County Arts Guild & Depot Gallery is to support, inspire, and encourage all artists. Reaching out, the Carbon County Arts Guild & Depot Gallery provides art education and exposure to the visual, performing and literary arts for the benefit of the broadest possible audience.
