 i grew up in Western Montana where she immersed herself in her surrounding
 s. Being home-schooled Janet was encouraged to explore a variety of outdoo
 r activities including fishing\, hiking\, and horseback riding. Animals we
 re also a huge part of her childhood and she spent many hours drawing them
 . Her love for art continued to grow and develop\, but like a lot of peopl
 e\, Moczar-Buti jumped into the “real” world juggling a desk job\, marriag
 e\, and three wonderful children. \n\nThrough it all Janet Moczar-Buti con
 tinued to paint and develop her artistic skills by entering shows across t
 he country. It was in her 40s when Janet decided to leave her desk job to 
 pursue being a full-time artist. She says: “I know that I am on this plane
 t to create art\, and share with others\, nature at its finest. To help pe
 ople recognize the beauty that surrounds them and to further its conservat
 ion\, so that those who come after us can enjoy it as well.”\n\nThe Carbon
  County Arts Guild is please to show this solo exhibition of work by Janet
  Moczar-Buti December 3\, 2020 through January 15\, 2021. We are free and 
 open to the public 12-4 p.m.\, Thursday through Monday.
