 , the hardships\, and the struggles of early Montanans. Hartman’s attempt 
 to capture a way of life that has vanished forever has resulted in three m
 ajor art series… homesteads\, riverboats\, and the Rocky Mountains.\n\nThe
  opening reception is FRIDAY\, AUGUST 29\, from 5-7 p.m. Enjoy light refre
 shments. This event is free and open to the public. If you are unable to a
 ttend the opening reception\, stop by the Depot Gallery\, Monday September
  1\, during the Labor Day Arts Fair to visit with the artist. \n\nThis exh
 ibition is organized by the Carbon County Arts Guild & Depot Gallery which
  receives additional support from coal tax placed into Montana's Cultural 
 and Aesthetic Projects Trust Fund.\n \nThe Carbon County Arts Guild & Depo
 t Gallery provides access to art\, supports artistic expression\, and enco
 urages creative experiences for the enrichment of our communities. \n\n
