  • The Labor Day Arts Fair in Lions Park attracts visitors, fine artists, and artisans from all over the area. This annual event is organized by the Carbon County Arts Guild.

The Rocky Mountain Regional Juried Exhibition is organized by the Carbon County Arts Guild & Depot Gallery. Art selected for the exhibition will be on view March 1-30, 2024 in the Depot Gallery. The opening reception and announcement of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners as well as People's Choice will be 3-5 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2024.

The juror for the 2024 RMRJE is Bonnie Zahn Griffith. This annual exhibition is open to residents of Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Idaho. Oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, mixed media, drawings, and small 3-D sculptures are acceptable. Cash awards are given to 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and People’s Choice. Ribbons will be given for Honorable Mentions.

ABOUT THE JUROR
Painting the western landscape in oils and pastels, Bonnie Zahn Griffith brings her world to life on paper and canvas. A painter and educator, Griffith paints on location throughout the U.S. and teaches workshops on plein air techniques and the art of pastel painting.
