The Carbon County Arts Guild & Depot Gallery strives to be ADA compliant and accessible to accommodate individuals with many types of disabilities.
Parking: Designated parking and connected sidewalk for wheelchair access is on Oakes, a one-way street on the east side of the building. The gallery entrance, accessible by a sidewalk, is on the west side of the building close to the flower garden.
Restrooms: Carbon County Arts Guild & Depot Gallery does not have a public restroom. Public restrooms are located in a wheelchair accessible building to the north of the train depot. Parking is also available at the public restroom.
Seating: Chairs are available inside the galleries and during suitable weather benches are accessible outside on the deck.
Service Animals and Emotional Support Animals: Unfortunately, due to the limited space inside areas of this historic building, the Carbon County Arts Guild & Depot Gallery does not allow Service Animals or Emotional Support Animals (ESA) on site. Emotional Support Animals or Comfort Animals are often used as part of a medical treatment plan as therapy animals, are not considered service animals under the ADA.
Signage and Printed Materials: We do not have labels or signage in braille, but many of the labels and directional signage are in an enlarged print. Biographical material can be provided in an enlarged print upon request.
Accessibility Contact: For more information please call (406) 446-1370 and we will work with you to provide any accommodations needed for your visit.
