Nature Journaling Workshop
Join local artist and naturalist Dominique Paulus for a weekend of exploration, learning and creativity. Saturday begins with some preliminary instruction, then participants will head out on a guided hike to observe and record this year’s beautiful wildflowers and other mountain flora. Sunday will be a day to gather at the Carbon County Depot Gallery and delve into capturing Saturday’s observations in a variety of creative ways. Dominique will provide instruction on using watercolors and colored pencils to take your drawings from sketch to finished artwork.
All skill levels are welcome.
Workshop Schedule: Saturday - 8:30 am - 4pm, field and class work; Sunday - 9am - 4pm, class work
Cost: $80; $72 for Guild Members. An art supply kit is included in the workshop fee.
