Tom is a Guild Member and one of the art teachers provided by the Art Education Outreach Program. We asked him about his teaching style. "When I was studying with my painting mentor Hall Diteman, I asked how I could recompense him for the knowledge he was sharing with me. His reply was that I should always be willing to pass that knowledge on to others who might benefit from it. In this regard I try to introduce and nurture my students in the joy and satisfaction they may discover in their own lives through the exploration of the creative process." he replied.
