Studio Art Quilt Associates Trunk Show
Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA) traveling trunk shows are designed to showcase SAQA’s diversity of talent and support our mission to “promote the art quilt.” Audiences at locations around the world are able to engage with the art quilts in an up-close and personal way. In addition to delighting viewers with the variety of techniques and breadth of creativity, trunks are also used for educational purposes and outreach. The artists in this trunk show reside in Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming and include: Brooke Atherton, Alison A. Banks, Pat Budge, Donna L. Deaver, Joyce King Ferrie, Gina Gahagan, Sally K. Glutting, Maggy Rozycki Hiltner, Carol Kimble, Monique Kleinhans, Cheryl R. Lipari, Linda MacDonald, Linda Jean McLaughlin, Christine Mullaney, Katy Kellogg Nygard, Carol O'Bagy, Barbara Lynn Tylka, Naomi Velasquez, Pam Wells, Mary Zaun, Deb Zelenak, and Heidi A. Zielinski.
Each quilt is 10 x 7 inches, mounted on a white 12 x 9 inch backing board, and sealed inside a clear envelope. The artist's location, artwork title, statement and information about techniques and materials are on the back. The trunk show is a wonderful way to view and engage with art quilts.
