ENCOUNTERS: Recent Work by Henry Blond

This summer we will feature amazing paintings by Henry Blond in the main gallery at the Carbon County Arts Guild.
As a former resident of Red Lodge, artist Henry Blond is set to return with a new series of paintings for his exhibition, "Encounters." The opening reception is 5-7 p.m. with a gallery talk at 6 p.m. on Friday, August 29, 2025. This preview of work and gallery talk is free and open to the public. If you can't make it to the reception, Blond will be available to visit informally at the Depot Gallery on Monday, September 1 during the Labor Day Arts Fair.
Henry’s creative background in music, design and visual arts is unified through the balancing of rhythm, harmony, color and the powerful use of space. With Montana being such a formative place on his journey to becoming a full-time artist, Henry is excited to come back and share the results of his recent artistic exploration.
This exhibition is organized by the Carbon County Arts Guild & Depot Gallery which receives additional support from coal tax placed into Montana's Cultural and Aesthetic Projects Trust Fund.
The Carbon County Arts Guild & Depot Gallery provides access to art, supports artistic expression, and encourages creative experiences for the enrichment of our communities.
