To judge the work for this year's RMRJE is nationally acclaimed artist Terry Cooke Hall. In her youth, Hall’s passion for art led her to numerous classes and workshops in life drawing, graphic design, and illustration. Hall says, “I spent 20 years working in the corporate world followed by co-owning a commercial art business with my sister, operating throughout San Diego County, eventually transitioning into a fine art career as a professional artist in 2009.”
Over the years, Hall has focused exclusively on developing a fine art career. She has studied under nationally-known artists with an intense focus on foundational principles of fine art, impressionistic light, and color. Hall has earned numerous awards, exhibited in more than 30 major museum shows and several gallery group exhibitions. Her work is featured in several national magazines. The most recent article is in the Art of the West Magazine. Work created by Hall, now residing in Bozeman, Montana, can be found in corporate and private collections across the nation.
