It was a wonderful afternoon at the Carbon County Arts Guild on Saturday, March 9, 2024. Guests and artists mingled and enjoyed refreshments while viewing sixty-nine incredible pieces of art on display in the Rocky Mountain Regional Juried Exhibition (RMRJE). At 4:00 p.m. Executive Director Kim Kapalka announced the judges awards for the top four places and honorable mentions in the category of 3-dimensional and 2-dimensional art; awards selected by the juror, Bonnie Zahn Griffith.
1 st -Place winners received $200 courtesy of the Roosevelt Center.

A special part of RMRJE is the PEOPLE’S CHOICE award. Now through March 30, the public can visit the Depot Gallery and cast their vote on their favorite three-dimensional piece and favorite two-dimensional piece. The work in each category with the most votes will win a $50 People’s Choice award.

The Depot Gallery is free and open to the public 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday through Saturday and 12-4 p.m., Sunday and Monday.
