"Inspired By Song", Guild Members Exhibition
The Carbon County Arts Guild is excited to once again feature the theme show for our members called, "Inspired By Song." In the exhibition, visitors will find a wide array of musical tunes represented; anywhere from classical to rock-n-roll to country. There are watercolor, oil, and acrylic paintings, drawings, mixed media pieces, sculpture, and ceramics. QR codes are on each wall tag so visitors can listen to the tunes as they view the artwork.
A reception for the "Inspired By Song" exhibition will take place 2-6 p.m. Saturday, June 14 during the Red Lodge Art Walk. We will have light refreshments and a name the song game for those interested in music trivia.
This exhibition is organized by the Carbon County Arts Guild & Depot Gallery which is funded in part by coal severance taxes paid based upon coal mined in Montana and deposited in Montana's cultural and aesthetic projects trust fund.
