Montana Painters Alliance Exhibition
The Montana Painters Alliance is a group of professional artists who live in communities throughout Montana. A couple times a year these artists take their easels and paint what they observe outdoors. In 2018, Carbon County Arts Guild executive director invited the group to paint in Red Lodge and surrounding area. The result is this exhibition and it is on view in the main and north galleries September 3-October 11, 2021.
OPENING RECEPTION: Friday, September 3, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. / Free and Open to the Public / Refreshments provided
MPA artists participating in this exhibition include Rob Akey, Marcia Ballowe, Diana Brady, Thomas English, Chuck Fulcher, Mimi Grant, Jerry Inman, Jeff Manion, Jennifer McClellan, Patrick McClellan, Diana Mysse, Terry Nybo, Greg Scheibel, Deb Schmit, Robert Spannring, Laurie Stevens, David Swanson, Ron Ukrainetz, Shirle Wempner, and Ken Yarus.
Regular hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday -Saturday and 12-4 p.m. Sunday & Monday.
The Carbon County Arts Guild & Depot Gallery provides access to art, supports artistic expression, and encourages creative experiences for the enrichment of our communities. This exhibition is free and open to the public. It is organized by the Carbon County Arts Guild & Depot Gallery which is supported in part by grants from the Montana Arts Council, the Coal Tax Trust Fund for Cultural and Aesthetic Projects, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
