Art in the Beartooths Exhibition and Auction
The 49th Art in the Beartooths exhibition and auction is an event that raises funds for the ongoing programs, workshops, exhibitions and special events that are organized by the Carbon County Arts Guild & Depot Gallery.
Artists participating in Art in the Beartooths exhibition and auction are Ty Barhaug, Maggie Bassett, Amber Blazina, Marty Clague, Cheryl Davis, Ken Deaver, Thomas English, Barbara Garrett, Bonnie Griffith, Eleanor Guerrero, Terry C. Hall, Carol Hartman, Connie Herberg, Jackie Inman, Jerry Inman, Lance Johnson, Cheryl Kesler, David Kewitt, Mary Knapp, Ellis Knows Gun, Allen Knows His Gun, Laurie Kopec, Mike Kosorok, Tess Lehman, Susan Lyons, Helen Mackay, Terri Malucci, Judith McMurray, Tim Morgan, Maggi Neal, E. Denney NeVille, Dorci Newman Tremblay, Janice Polzin, John Potter, Sydney Rajchel, Kevin Red Star, Stephanie Rose, Lynn Shield, Trish Stevenson, Lou Taylor, James Vincent, Shirle Wempner, Randy Wiethorn, Kelly Wolfe, Tom Wolfe, and Dana Zier.
Amazing works of art by these artists from around the region will be on view in the main and north galleries throughout the month. On Saturday, July 9 at the Kick-off Party the online bidding begins in the style of a silent auction using Handbid. This allows a person to bid from anywhere using their mobile device, laptop or computer.
A Quick Finish will be done at the Kick-off Party from 6:30-7:30 p.m. featuring artists Jerry Inman, John Potter, and Tom Wolfe. The pieces created at the Quick Finish will be sold and proceeds will support our education/scholarship programs.
Tickets to the Kick-Off Bidding Party are $50 per person and available by contacting the Arts Guild. Enjoy an evening of live music by Charlie Brandine, food by Samurai Sue's Everyday Food, beverages, and opportunity to bid on your favorite art.
The Art in the Beartooths fundraiser supports our ongoing programs including educational outreach, scholarships, workshops, traveling exhibitions and access to the arts.
